So it should be safe enough to ignore all these prompts, since resetting things may interfere with other applications. You are then prompted whether you want to install the Adobe Acrobat reader. If you (presumably) already have it on your computer, you shouldn't need to install again. The next pop-up message indicates that the installation program is configuring yourenvironment. My experience is that this process takes quite a while, perhaps 2 minutes,but it does eventually end.
