I run a small hostel near the Old Town. Guests often ask me how they can best get to Ston. Some say they paid €25, while others say €50 . Has anyone already been there who can advise on the best way to organise a transfer without overpaying? Are there any taxi services? I need to compile a list of recommendations for guests.

Hello! What is the name of your hostel? I stayed at one near the old town three years ago – is it the same one? At the time, I arranged a taxi on Gettransfer from the centre to Ston, which cost around €17. You can find more information here https://gettransfer.com/en/directions/croatia/dubrovnik . I think your guests will be happy with it because they can see the price right away, which is really convenient. It's a pretty popular transfer service in Croatia. My friends use it too, just like a taxi. Has anyone on the forum been to the local tavern right by the bay, by the way? I can't remember the name, but they serve delicious oysters.
